Refund policy

14-day return policy (EU)

You have the right to return any item within 14 calendar days of receipt, without giving a reason, according to EU law.

Exception: personalized / customized items cannot be returned.

Eligibility conditions

To be accepted for return, the item must be:

in the same condition as it was received, unworn and unused;

with tags attached and in the original packaging;

accompanied by proof of purchase (order number / invoice).

How to initiate a return

Send us an email to office@hangaround.ro with: order number, reason for return and (if applicable) photos.

After confirmation, send the package by any courier (we do not work with Poșta Română) to the address:

Return delivery fees are borne by the sender (customer). The package must be sent without refund (0 refund).

Items sent back without prior return request may be refused.

Exchanges & modified products

Size/color exchange: return the product according to the steps above, and after accepting the return you can place a new order.

Modified / personalized products:

On the day of receiving the package, the product enters production for adjustments.

We ship to you in 3–5 business days by courier, with a refund of 50 lei (delivery fee).

If you choose not to modify the product, we can process the refund (see below).

Please note: personalized items are not eligible for the 14-day return policy.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect the package upon receipt and contact us immediately if the product is defective, damaged or wrong. We will assess the situation and promptly remedy the situation (replacement, repair or refund, as applicable).

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

personalized / customized items;

perishable goods (e.g. food, flowers, plants);

personal care products (e.g. unsealed cosmetics);

hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases;

sale items and gift cards.

Refunds

We will notify you after receiving and verifying the return if it has been approved.

Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days; your bank/payment processor may take up to 10 business days to reflect the amount in your account.
